There are few ways for you to upload files to your new Justhost hosting account. First of all, make sure you already have a Justhost hosting account signup and setup, the setup email will arrive at your mailbox, and you need the FTP login information inside.
Either you login FTP via FTP client software, or via cPanel FTP file manager. These are the two common ways for you to upload files to Justhost server and download files from server. For bulk files uploading, huge amount of files, definitely you will need a file transfer client program for example FileZilla. Download and install it, and add the FTP connection to your new just host account. Login to the FTP server and browse to “/public_html” folder, here is where to upload your files to Justhost account. Files located here will appear online in your website.
As an alternative, you can use the cPanel file manager to manage the small amount of file transfer. Login just host cPanel and go to file manager. It is similar to FTP client, its web based program, and here you can perform all type of FTP function. Manage your web server files here, organizing files and perform upload download files.
If you are having add-on domain name with Justhost account, for the add-on website to work, you have to upload the files to the add-on domain folder instead. For example here is “/public_html/domain1″, all files you uploaded to this subdirectory will appear on the add-on domain website.
Their hosting plan allow unlimited domains hosting, hence you can add multiple websites in one hosting account. Make sure you are uploading files to the correct folder and subdirectory.
